No solar charging or external light source is required. The Standard-Issue Tritium gas tubes used in our military watches are self-powered. They contain a low isotope of hydrogen that provides continuous, constant visibility in pitch-black conditions for up to 25 years without fading.

It depends on the model's submersibility. Our GPM and GPQ series have a 3 ATM rating, built to withstand rain and accidental splashes.
